Cllr Ross McWilliams

Cox Green, RBWM

Ross McWilliams has lived in Cox Green his entire life. He attended Wessex Junior School and Cox Green Senior School. Before becoming a councillor, Ross was the Chairman of the Youth Council in RBWM, a role which included opening the Cox Green Community Centre's extension. Ross is particularly focused on improving the quality of the roads in Cox Green and defending green belt land against inappropriate developments, for example the proposed Claire's Court development.

Ross is Senior Parliamentary Researcher to Tim Loughton MP in the Houses of Parliament. The job requires extensive knowledge of political processes, including developments in local politics. Ross uses this detailed knowledge to affect positive change in the Royal Borough.

Ross believes in keeping taxes as low as possible because individuals know how to spend their money better than the government, but will always argue passionately for investment in key areas, such as caring for the most vulnerable in our community and crucial infrastructure projects.

Ross is Deputy Chairman (Political) of Maidenhead Conservative Association.
