I am extremely grateful to the people of the Maidenhead constituency for once again electing me as their Member of Parliament. It has been a huge honour to serve as the MP for Maidenhead for the last 20 years. I am proud of what we have achieved together over that time: securing improvements to local transport services, the NHS, and beginning the rejuvenation of Maidenhead town centre. I pledge to work with Maidenhead residents to continue making progress on these issues, and on the other things that matter to local people – and I will seek to represent all the people of the Maidenhead constituency, whoever they voted for, as best I can in the years ahead.
As MP for Maidenhead, and as Prime Minister, I will continue to fight for what is in the best interests of people across the country as we prepare for the Brexit negotiations and address the challenges that lie ahead.
