A great event held by The Dash Charity, which provides an absolutely crucial service in supporting victims of domestic violence and abuse.
Lead Member for Adult Social Care and Public Health, Cllr Stuart Carroll said:
"It was fantastic to see so many people attend the first of two sessions this morning that the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead hosted to launch our new partnership with The Dash Charity.
"This is our critical service to support victims of domestic violence and domestic abuse and to promote awareness and prevention. I was delighted to help open the session and thank our excellent officers and the superb team at DASH for their essential work.
"We are committed to supporting victims and protecting vulnerable people, and we will always adopt a zero tolerance approach to all domestic violence and domestic abuse.
"I will be bringing a motion to full council next week on this very issue with the aim to raise further awareness and to call on all councillors to play their part in promoting and supporting this crucial service. Domestic abuse stops here."
