As many of you will be aware, RBWM will be developing out Maidenhead Golf Course This will be massive change to our town and will ensure we are satisfying our Local Plan and delivering the homes we need to ensure local people can continue to live and work in #Maidenhead, including hundreds of affordable homes
Given the size of the development, there will need to be significant upgrades to our road infrastructure to ensure our roads do not become congestedThis provides us with a great opportunity to make meaningful and lasting positive changes to our road infrastructure in and around the town centre
We fully appreciate that this is a big change and understand residents are concerned about what this is going to be mean for local infrastructure, which is why Oldfield Conservative, Cllr Derek Wilson has grasped the issue and recommended 4 key infrastructure improvements:
1) Upgrade junction at bottom of Shoppenhangers Road to enable right hand turn onto Braywick Road
2) Upgrade junction at end of Harvest Hill Road and enable right hand turn toward M4 roundabout
3) Improvements to traffic flow around A308(M) roundabout at end of Braywick Road??
4) Pedestrian crossing to enable better access to Braywick Park and potential new roundabout
