The MCA supper Club is delighted to invite you to buy tickets for our Christmas drinks reception with Lord Nicholas Soames on Thursday 4th December 2025. The Rt. Hon. the Lord Soames of Fletching, the grandson of Sir Winston Churchill, has had a long Parliamentary career, having been a Conservative MP from 1983 - 2019 (Crawley then Mid-Sussex), Armed Forces Minister, Shadow Defence Secretary and now is a member of the International Relations and Defence Committee in the House of Lords. Join us for mulled wine and mince pies and other seasonal treats! Guests are very welcome so please bring like-minded family and friends.

We would like to invite you to our next Supper Club with Sir Iain Duncan-Smith as our guest speaker. The local venue will be announced 24 hours prior to the supper. You are welcome to bring guests to Supper Club events if you have like-minded friends and family who would enjoy the evening

We welcome your attendance at our forthcoming dinner where the Rt Hon Robert Jenrick MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Justice and Shadow Lord Chancellor has agreed to be our speaker on Friday 9th May. Robert is a robust politician and very effective in opposition and recently was the first to highlight the proposed biased sentencing guidelines and instrumental in getting them withdrawn. He has held several ministerial positions including Minister of State for Immigration, from which he resigned as he considered the proposed Rwanda plan did not go far enough. He has since been an advocate of the UK leaving the European Convention on Human Rights. There will be a three course dinner in a venue confirmed 24 hours beforehand, with a welcome drinks reception, plus an auction and raffle. Guests are welcome, so do bring your friends and neighbours for what will be an interesting and lively event. The ticket cost is £65 per person. The dress code is lounge suits/smart. It is a great opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones. Tickets are selling fast and if you haven’t already booked on.
