Supper Club with David Starkey CBE 15th October 2026 7pm - 10.30pm Our next Supper Club is with the leading historian and Conservative commentator, David Starkey CBE. He started as a Labour supporter, then saw the light and shifted rightwards in the 1970’s and 1980’s. He is now a prominent, forthright, right of centre and popular commentator on current affairs. He is a critic of so called ‘progressive academics’, views populism as a consequence of a complacent political establishment and promotes history as showing the importance of a coherent national narrative. Or in other words, a Kemi supporter!
